SEEN (SCENE) ON THE SUBWAY

Everyone has a story!

 

Riding the subway in Manhattan is a wonderful opportunity to imagine the stories behind the faces of my fellow riders. Where are they going? Where are they coming from? What are their lives like? What are their secrets? My paintings in this series raises these questions even as they deal with themes of isolation and diversity.
